The 2017-2018 school year has just kicked off and Caney High School has decided to try something new! A few of the students have shown an interest in competing in cross country meets so, with the support of the high school coaches, a cross country team has been formed. Try outs have been held and the team will consist of ten students, six boys and three girls. Students will be competing in state qualifying meets as teams or as individuals. They will be required to attend daily practice with coach Jordan Caldwell. The school is very excited about the new program and wishes all of the competing students a good year!
